Contact Information

Hi everyone!

Before I begin, I want to repost my email address so everyone has it. Send me mail to WelcomeBabyT@gmail.com. (Jamie it was good to hear from you, but Mommy and Daddy need your email address. Send me`an email and I'll give them your address!)

Not much to really update everyone on. I know that my pictures don't show it, but I am smiling and Mommy says that I am even laughing! As soon as I see the camera though, I put on my "game face" and I make sure that I don't smile for the camera! Here is a perfect example. I was sitting in my swing, smiling, laughing, and talking to Daddy. As soon as I saw the camera, boom - game face time!

I'm thinking I can make it to about 18 months old before they get a picture of me smiling!

Talking is coming along pretty well. I've got the Preamble of the Constitution down and I'm working on Article I this week. Seriously, I am a much better thinker then I am a talker, but I sure do like trying. I'm making all sorts of sounds and as soon as I figure out how to turn my thoughts into words, look out!

I'm sleeping through the night more often, but I make sure that if on a particular night Mommy and Daddy are both really tired that I make sure I wake up at 3:00am so I can have a small drink. On average, I'm sleeping through 4 nights a week from about 10:00pm until 5:00am!

I'm not really crawling yet, but I am standing when Mommy or Daddy hold me up. I get my legs to support my weight for a few seconds. I will even sometimes pretend to walk. I'm sure that walking and talking is going to take a little while but I will be doing both within the next 6 months!

I LOVE tummy time and Mommy and Daddy bought me this really cool tummy time mat.

Thursday was my 100-day birthday! I believe that I accomplished more in my first 100 days then the democrats did in their first 100 days but Mommy says that I'm not suppose to "go all political" on my blog, so I won't get into any details.
I don't really like basketball very much, but I will say congrats to the Gators for beating Georgia yesterday! I'd love to believe that they will be the number one seed for the tournament, but I don't know that they will be able to pull it off. Either way, it will be nice to see the Gators win a consecutive NCAA basketball championship. And remember, only about 5 months until the next Gator football game!
Well, that's it for now. I have to go help Mommy and Daddy clean the house. I'll leave you with this quote:
"The best thing about the future is that is only comes one day at a time."
- Abraham Lincoln
Love y'all,
Melody
